Fantastic bach with top views of Mt Ruapehu. Large, open and clean. We had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much to Kahl and Jo for all your help and great communication!
Our family of six enjoyed our stay. Definitely value for your money. Has everything you need to enjoy your stay. One thing I liked was you could shut off one end of the lounge as a TV room for the kids.
We would go back and stay again.

Highly recommend Kahl and his perfectly located batch just behind Carrot. Two families with 2 kids each were a perfect fit. All girls under the age of 7 stayed in one room which makes for a fun time. Enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain either sitting inside at the dinning table or out on the deck. The batch was well heated and has a great drying room. All amenities new clean and working. This batch will be staying on our holiday list.
We enjoyed the bach very much. The whole family was well catered for, the place was warm and comfortable and the Kahl and Jo were great to deal with. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at this great place.

"We couldn't fault this house, was fantastic! Nice and warm with a heat pump and oil heaters in the bedrooms. Especially enjoyed the amazing view of Ruapehu from the dining room, lounge and master bedroom. Nice dry carport to load up and unload the car so you don't get wet in the rain (or snow) Loved it and would stay again :)"

Had a fabulous stay at Modern Mountain Escape, Awesome house with all the mod cons you could ask for, and in excellent order. Highly recommended to all.
Modern Mountain Escape is clean, fresh and comfortable. Close to Ohakune township, a real suntrap, and well appointed - the kitchen in particular had all the little things you're used to at home!
A real pleasure to spend time in and come back to - such a good choice.

"Lovely warm house in Ohakune. This house is brand new and it was lovely to stay in. It was like a home away from home.
